Who is Bathurst Seymour Centre for?

Bathurst Seymour Centre Inc. is a not-for-profit organisation providing day support to seniors, carers and people living with disability. Our clients reside in their own homes, live independently or may be supported by informal and formal supports. 

 

The Bathurst Seymour Centre is a unique service for people over the age of 65, or 50 if you are Aboriginal or Torres Straight Islander.

 

We provide several services funded by the Commonwealth Home Support Program:

  • Our main service is a social support group. We support individuals to engage in social activities and meet people in a welcoming environment. You may be living alone or with a spouse or family. You may be lonely or finding it difficult to make the effort to get out or simply want to try something different. You may drive or require transport, you may have a disability, or you may not

  • Centre Based Respite for individuals who are being supported by a carer

  • Flexible Respite allowing a carer the flexibility to use the service for their loved one, when requiring respite at short notice

  • Social Support Individual - phone or digital contact and individual assistance to shop for groceries or attend appointments

  • Assistance to navigate My Aged Care

We are now cashless, and offer the following payment options:

  • EFTPOS,

  • Direct Debit, and
