What Services are available?

Recreational and Social Activities
The Centre provides a friendly and informal atmosphere with opportunities to participate in a variety of activities and outings.

Meals
Morning tea and afternoon tea, and a main midday meal are provided.

Transport
Transport to and from the Centre can usually be arranged for people living within the City of Bathurst. Bathurst Seymour Centre uses volunteer cars and our own minibus. This bus is fitted with a wheelchair hoist and modified steps. A carer travels on the bus to assist passengers where required.

Other Services
Information - pamphlets, books and videos providing information on issues facing frail aged people and their carers.
Communion - Catholic and Protestant.
Large Print Books - for borrowing.
Monthly Haircutting Service.

11.00AM - 3.30PM

Tuesday to Friday
8.30AM - 5.30PM

Saturday
10.00AM - 4.00PM

Sunday
CLOSED

How much will it cost?


The cost of attending the Seymour Centre is determined by:

  • Meals required
  • Transport requirements
  • Hours of attendance

Maximum daily fee is $8.50

There is an additional charge for optional outings and special activities.

No-one will be denied service because of inability to pay.
